This policy explains what data PullOrKeep collects when you use the app, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It covers the iOS app, the server-side processing that supports it, and any web pages we operate at pullorkeep.com.
We have written this in plain language. Where defined terms are useful, like "personal data", we have used the meanings given by Apple's App Store guidelines and the GDPR.
PullOrKeep is operated by Evolution Trading Technologies Pty Ltd (ACN 696 687 564), an Australian proprietary limited company. You can reach us at support@pullorkeep.com for any privacy question or to exercise the rights set out below.
We collect only what is needed to make the app work.
When you sign in with Apple we receive your unique Apple user identifier. On the first sign-in we also receive the name and email address you choose to share. If you skip sign-in we still create an anonymous account so the app can function. That account is identified only by a random ID generated on your device.
Every photo you submit for identification or check-in is uploaded to our secure cloud storage and analysed by our AI image-analysis service. We retain the photo so we can show it in your scan history and on your garden tiles.
The species, verdict, growth stage, status, care notes, regional context, season and timestamps that come back from each scan or check-in. We also store the plants you have added to your garden.
Your device's country code, which we send to the model so its advice is relevant to where you are gardening. We do not collect precise location.
Whether you have an active Premium subscription. We do not see your card number, billing address or any payment details. Those stay with Apple.
Crash reports, error logs and basic device characteristics like model, iOS version and app version, so we can fix bugs.
We do not use advertising trackers. We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles.
We do not use your data for advertising or to train any AI model.
We share data only with the service providers we need to run PullOrKeep. Each is bound by their own data-processing terms.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. They are bound by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and Data Processing Agreements.
We will share your data with law enforcement only if compelled by a valid legal request.

PullOrKeep is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the EU. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the account.
We use industry-standard authentication, server-side access rules, abuse-detection checks and HTTPS in transit. No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
We will post any material change here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will notify you in the app before it takes effect.
